Why people look for an AnyDesk alternative
Most teams don’t leave AnyDesk because it is slow — they leave because of the bill. AnyDesk’s plans limit how many people can be connected at the same time, so a small IT team that works in parallel quickly needs a bigger plan or extra connections.
VVDesk prices each seat instead: on the Team plan every person can have two sessions open at once, and adding a colleague is one more seat, not a jump to the next tier.
What you keep when you switch
The daily work stays the same. You connect with a 9-digit desk ID, the person at the desk accepts, and the session opens in its own tab.
- Unattended access with a password per PC, starting with Windows
- File and folder transfer in both directions, and chat with the person at the desk
- Several monitors, with View and Picture settings for slow links
- Apps for Windows, Mac, Android and iPhone with one address book
What VVDesk adds
- VVR, our own codec built for remote desktop: pixel-exact text and smooth moving parts
- End-to-end encryption (AES-256-GCM) between the two devices — the relay only carries data it cannot read
- Direct connections between the devices wherever the network allows, with no ports to open
- Port forwarding to the remote PC or its network, Wake-on-LAN and connection checks without a screen session
- A command line and MCP server, so scripts and AI assistants can do routine jobs under the desk owner’s rules
- Prices in EUR or MKD, invoices with your company tax number, and help in Albanian, Macedonian, English and German
When AnyDesk is the better choice
If you need to reach Linux machines, or Macs with Intel processors, AnyDesk covers them and VVDesk does not yet. For Windows PCs, tills and servers reached from Windows, Mac or a phone, VVDesk does the same job for less.
Questions
Can I use VVDesk and AnyDesk side by side while I switch?
Yes. They don’t interfere with each other, so you can install VVDesk on your PCs, move your address book over and remove AnyDesk when you are ready.
Is VVDesk free like AnyDesk’s free version?
Yes, for personal, non-commercial use, with no time limit. For work, Solo starts at €9.90 a month billed yearly.
How fast is VVDesk compared with AnyDesk?
VVDesk uses VVR, our own codec built for remote desktop: it sends only the parts of the screen that changed and keeps text pixel-exact. Try both on your own connection — the 14-day trial needs no card.
