Deleting your VVDesk account
You can delete your VVDesk account at any time, in the app or on the web. Deletion is permanent: it removes your account and the data tied to it, and it cannot be undone.
In the VVDesk app
On a phone, open Me › Delete account. On a Mac, open Settings › Account & plan › Delete account. Enter your password to confirm. The account is deleted straight away, and you are signed out on every device.
On the web
Without the app, use the deletion page: enter your account’s email and password, then the 6-digit code we email you. The code works for 30 minutes.

Your name, email and password for VVDesk, and every place you are signed in; your session records; your place in any team, and the invites to your email. A team you own alone is closed: its name, company and VAT number are removed, and so is its unattended access to devices.
What is kept, and why
Payments, invoices and subscription records, for as long as tax law requires; our reseller Paddle keeps its own payment records as the merchant of record. A hash of a PC’s hardware IDs from a free trial, so the same PC does not get a second trial; it does not identify you. If you also sign in to VVOffice with the same email, that sign-in stays and only the VVDesk data goes. None of this can be used to sign in to VVDesk.
Before you delete
If you own a team with other people in it, remove them in Team first (a team’s owner cannot be changed). If your team’s plan still renews by card, cancel it first: Account › Your subscription › Cancel subscription, in the app or on this website. A plan already cancelled for the end of its period does not stop the deletion, and it is not charged again. The app and the deletion page tell you when one of these is in the way.
